Description
Crispy taco shells filled with creamy cheesecake and topped with strawberry crunch.
Ingredients
6 small flour tortillas
1 cup fresh strawberries
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 cup whipped cream
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
12 Golden Oreos (crushed)
1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries (crushed)
3 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Oil for frying
Instructions
1. Fry tortillas until golden, coat with cinnamon sugar, shape into tacos.
2. Whip cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and whipped cream until smooth.
3. Crush Oreos and freeze-dried strawberries, mix with melted butter for crunch topping.
4. Pipe cheesecake filling into shells.
5. Top with crunch mixture and fresh strawberries.
6. Chill before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, bake tortillas instead of frying.
Prepare shells ahead of time and fill before serving.
