A fresh and tangy twist on traditional salsa  this strawberry pico de gallo combines juicy strawberries, lime, and jalapeño with a cool Greek yogurt drizzle for a sweet-savory snack or topping.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups fresh strawberries, diced

1 small jalapeño, seeded and finely minced

1/4 cup red onion, finely diced

1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Juice of 1 lime

Salt to taste

For serving:

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 tsp honey (optional)

Tortilla chips, grilled chicken, or fish for dipping/serving

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine diced strawberries, jalapeño, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, and salt.

2. Toss gently to mix all ingredients evenly.

3. In a small bowl, stir Greek yogurt with honey (if using) for a lightly sweetened drizzle.

4. Serve the strawberry pico de gallo chilled with a dollop or drizzle of Greek yogurt on top.

5. Enjoy with tortilla chips, grilled chicken, or as a refreshing topping for tacos.

Notes

For extra heat, leave a few jalapeño seeds in.

Add diced avocado for creaminess.

Best served fresh, but can be stored up to 1 day in the fridge — stir before serving.
