Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberries: Wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the tops, and slice them. Toss with sugar and let sit for 15-30 minutes.
- Make the Whipped Cream: In a bowl, combine cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until stiff peaks form.
- Cube the Pound Cake: Slice or bake pound cake and cut it into 1-inch cubes.
- Assemble the Shooters: Layer cubed pound cake, strawberries with syrup, and whipped cream in serving cups.
- Garnish: Optionally add mint leaves or chocolate shavings on top.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
