Description

Elegant, no-bake tiramisu cups layered with creamy mascarpone filling, espresso-soaked ladyfingers, and a dusting of cocoa  a perfect individual dessert for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale

1 cup heavy whipping cream

8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup strong brewed espresso or coffee, cooled

2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)

1215 ladyfinger cookies

Unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting

Chocolate shavings (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form; set aside.

2. In another bowl, whisk together mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until combined and fluffy.

4. Combine espresso and coffee liqueur (if using) in a shallow dish.

5. Break ladyfingers in half and quickly dip each piece into the coffee mixture (do not soak).

6. Layer the bottom of each cup or jar with dipped ladyfingers.

7. Spoon or pipe a layer of mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.

8. Repeat the layers once more, finishing with the cream on top.

9. Dust generously with cocoa powder.

10. Chill for at least 2 hours (or up to 24 hours) before serving.

11. Top with chocolate shavings before serving if desired.

Notes

Make sure not to oversoak ladyfingers or the texture will become mushy.

Can be made 1 day ahead — flavors improve as it chills.

For a non-alcoholic version, omit coffee liqueur and add 1/2 tsp instant espresso powder to the coffee instead.
