Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
2–3 medium tomatoes (sliced)
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or feta
1 tsp garlic powder
Fresh basil leaves
Salt & pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares.
3. Score edges with a knife to create a border.
4. Arrange tomato slices inside the border.
5. Sprinkle cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper.
6. Brush edges with olive oil.
7. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden.
8. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Pat tomato slices dry before baking to prevent sogginess.
Customize with different cheeses or herbs for variety.
