Description

A soft and chewy cookie cake perfect for celebrating love on Valentine’s Day. Easy to make and customizable with decorations.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup frosting (for decorating)
  • Sprinkles or other decorative toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool completely in the pan before transferring to a plate.
  9. Decorate with frosting and colorful sprinkles to create a festive look for Valentine’s Day.

Notes

Store leftover cake in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for about a week. Allow it to come to room temperature before serving.
