Delightful homemade jams combining fresh fruits and spicy peppers for a unique flavor experience.
Ingredients

- 500g fresh blackberries
- 2 large jalapeños, finely chopped
- 300g granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 packet pectin (25g)
- Pinch of salt
- 500g fresh strawberries, chopped
- 500g ripe peaches, peeled and chopped
- 1–2 habanero peppers, finely chopped
- 500g fresh pineapple, finely chopped
- 2 serrano peppers, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp lime juice
Instructions
- Crush blackberries in a pot.
- Add chopped jalapeños, sugar, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and salt.
- Bring to a rolling boil.
- Keep boiling for 5 minutes, skim foam.
- Add pectin and boil for 1 more minute.
- Cool for 5 minutes, jar, and refrigerate.
- Mash strawberries in another pot.
- Mix in jalapeños, sugar, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and salt.
- Boil while stirring.
- Boil for 5 minutes, skim foam.
- Add pectin, boil for 1 minute.
- Cool for 5 minutes, jar, and refrigerate.
- Prep peaches, mash lightly.
- Add chopped habaneros, sugar, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and salt.
- Bring to a rolling boil.
- Boil for 5 minutes, skim foam.
- Add pectin, boil for 1 minute.
- Cool for 5 minutes, jar, and seal.
- Chop pineapple, combine with serrano peppers, sugar, lime juice, apple cider vinegar, and salt.
- Heat to a rolling boil.
- Cook for 5 minutes, skim foam.
- Add pectin and boil for 1 minute.
- Cool for 5 minutes, jar, and seal.
Notes
Ensure all jars are sterilized before use and taste the jam before jarring to adjust sweetness or acidity.
