A healthier alternative to traditional Buffalo wings, this Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower offers a crispy texture and bold flavors, making it perfect for game day or casual meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower – cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter – melted
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Cut the cauliflower into uniform bite-sized florets.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a smooth batter.
  3. Coat the cauliflower florets in the batter, ensuring they are fully covered.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  5. Place the battered cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. In a bowl, mix buffalo sauce with melted butter.
  7. Once cooked, transfer the cauliflower to a bowl and toss with the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
  8. Serve immediately with dipping sauces and crunchy vegetables.

Notes

For vegan options, replace the butter with a plant-based alternative. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
