Description

A delightful baked casserole combining spaghetti, creamy cheese, and optional meat, perfect for family dinners or potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups cooked ground beef or sausage (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the mozzarella cheese until smooth.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and cooked meat (if using), mixing well.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti to the cream cheese mixture, gently tossing to coat.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and grated Parmesan on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing. Add sautéed vegetables for more nutrition. Adjust seasoning to taste before baking.
