Ingredients

- 1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced)
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snap peas)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- Marinate the beef by combining soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl. Add beef, mix well, and let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Cook the beef in a hot skillet with vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes until browned, then remove and set aside.
- Sauté garlic and ginger in the same skillet until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Combine the beef back into the skillet with the vegetables and any leftover marinade, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve over rice or noodles.
Notes
For extra flavor, garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions. Serve with additional soy or chili sauce on the side for those who prefer more seasoning.
