- 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2–3 medium potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
- 500 grams lean beef mince
- Lettuce (shredded)
- Cheese (dairy-free or regular)
- Pickle slices
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard (Dijon or yellow)
- 1 teaspoon pickle juice
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Prepare the spice mix by combining smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Wash and cut the potatoes into chip-shaped pieces, patting them dry afterward.
- Place cut potatoes in a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and half of the spice mix, and toss to coat.
- Arrange seasoned potatoes on a baking tray and bake at 200°C (390°F) for 30–40 minutes or air fry for 20 minutes until crispy.
- Heat remaining olive oil in a frying pan and cook lean beef mince for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Add the remaining spice mix to the beef and cook until darkened and moisture evaporates.
- Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl to make the burger sauce.
- Assemble the bowls with crispy potatoes, shredded lettuce, cooked beef, cheese, pickle slices, and drizzle with burger sauce.
