Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients: Start by cutting the avocados in half and removing the pits. Scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor. Peel the bananas and add them to the blender as well.
  2. Add cocoa and sweetener: Next, sprinkle in the unsweetened cocoa powder, followed by your choice of honey or maple syrup. Pour in the vanilla extract and add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor.
  3. Blend until smooth: Secure the lid on your blender or food processor. Blend the mixture on high until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides occasionally to ensure everything is well mixed.
  4. Taste and adjust: After blending, taste the mousse. If you want it sweeter, feel free to add a little more honey or maple syrup and blend again for a few seconds.
  5. Refrigerate: Once you’re happy with the flavor, spoon the mousse into serving dishes or cups. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow it to set and chill, enhancing the flavors.
