Description

Delightful cinnamon twists made from flaky puff pastry, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to a rectangle about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
  4. Prepare the pastry by sprinkling the cinnamon sugar evenly across the surface and cut into strips about 1 inch wide.
  5. Twist each strip a few times gently to create the signature appearance.
  6. Place the twisted pastry strips in the air fryer basket lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for color.
  8. Cook in the air fryer for about 8 to 10 minutes, checking halfway through.
  9. Serve warm once cooked, allowing them to cool slightly.
