- 8 oz medium shell pasta
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Cook the shell pasta in a separate pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions, then drain.
- Deglaze the skillet with beef broth, scraping up any brown bits.
- Add heavy cream and let it cook until thickened.
- Combine the pasta and shredded cheese into the skillet until well mixed and cheese is melted.
- Adjust seasoning and serve warm.
