Description

A comforting dish that combines ground beef with a creamy sauce and pasta, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz medium shell pasta
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the shell pasta in a separate pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions, then drain.
  5. Deglaze the skillet with beef broth, scraping up any brown bits.
  6. Add heavy cream and let it cook until thickened.
  7. Combine the pasta and shredded cheese into the skillet until well mixed and cheese is melted.
  8. Adjust seasoning and serve warm.
