Delightful flaky twists filled with garlic, Parmesan, mozzarella, and fresh spinach, perfect for a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients

- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the spinach, mozzarella, Parmesan, cream cheese (if using), garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out the puff pastry slightly. Spread the filling evenly over half of the pastry, then fold the other half over. Press to seal and cut the pastry into strips.
- Twist each strip and place it on the baking sheet.
- Brush the twists with the egg wash and melted butter or olive oil. Bake for 18–22 minutes until they are puffed and golden brown.
Notes
These twists can be served warm or at room temperature. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2–3 days.
