A delightful twist on traditional French toast, these roll-ups are stuffed with creamy Nutella and fried until golden brown, making them a perfect breakfast treat.

- 4 slices of bread
- Nutella (as much as you like)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Butter for frying
Instructions
- Flatten the bread using a rolling pin until about a quarter of an inch thick.
- Spread Nutella generously over the surface of each slice.
- Roll up each slice tightly from one end to the other.
- Prepare the egg mixture by whisking together the egg and milk until combined.
- Heat a tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, coating all sides evenly.
- Cook roll-ups seam side down until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Prepare a mixture of cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over the hot roll-ups as soon as they come out of the skillet.
- Serve warm with maple syrup, fresh fruits, or whipped cream.
Notes
Use fresh bread for best results and feel free to add fruits or nuts inside for extra flavor.
