- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: Wash strawberries, hull them and slice in half. Peel and slice the banana.
- Blend the ingredients: In a blender, combine strawberries, banana, Greek yogurt, and almond milk.
- Blend until smooth: Blend mixture for about 30-60 seconds until smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
- Add sweetness: If desired, add honey and blend again for a few seconds.
- Cool it down: Add ice cubes for a chilled smoothie and blend until ice is crushed.
- Serve and enjoy: Pour into a glass and garnish as desired.
Notes
For a thicker smoothie, use frozen fruits. Adjust sweetness and add greens for extra nutrients.
