- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Prepare Your Pan: Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Blend the Base: In a food processor, combine walnuts, dates, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Pulse until sticky dough forms.
- Add Optional Nut Chunks: Include walnut chunks if desired and pulse to mix.
- Press into Pan: Transfer mixture to the prepared pan and press firmly.
- Melt the Chocolate Topping: Melt coconut oil with dark chocolate until smooth.
- Pour Over Brownies: Spread melted chocolate evenly over brownies.
- Set the Brownies: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Slice and Serve: Remove from pan and cut into squares.
